Who you are dealing with
Creovine Academy is run by Creovine, incorporated in Nigeria and Rwanda. Using the academy means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, do not use it.
Who can use the academy
You have to be 18 or older to hold an account here. Data protection law in both countries the academy operates from, Nigeria and Rwanda, treats anyone under 18 as a child, and the academy asks for a name, a photograph, a phone number and a payment, none of which we are willing to collect from a child on the strength of a tick box.
If you are under 18 and want to learn here, a parent or guardian can hold the account and enrol you. Write to team@creovine.com and we will set it up. If we find out an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and refund what is left unused.
Your account
One account, one person. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at team@creovine.com if you think somebody else is using it. Sharing an account, or the videos behind it, is the one thing that will get access withdrawn without a refund.
You can close your account whenever you like, from your profile.
What you are buying
A single course is bought once and does not expire. You keep it for as long as the academy runs it, including anything we add to it later.
A free download is yours to keep and to use in your own work. You may not resell it or publish it as your own.
The Academy Track is a graded programme sold one semester at a time, with fixed start dates. Buying a semester buys a place in that intake, the teaching in it, marking of your work, and a certificate if you meet the standard. It does not buy the next semester, which is sold separately.
The tools you use are your own
Everything the academy gives you is included in what you paid. The videos, the written guides, the downloads, the marking, the feedback and the certificate: there is nothing further to buy from us.
Some courses teach you to use tools made by other companies, and a few of those companies charge for their paid plans. Those are their prices, not ours, and you pay them directly if you choose to. We do not take a share and we cannot refund them.
You are never required to buy one to complete a course. Where a paid tool would help, the course names a free way to do the same work, and anything we ask you to hand in can be produced on the free option. Where a course needs an account somewhere else, it says so before you start it.
Prices
Prices are shown before you pay and include any tax we are required to charge. Some countries see a lower price, set for that market rather than converted from dollars. Payments outside Nigeria are handled by Polar as Merchant of Record; payments in naira are handled by Paystack.
When your access starts
The moment your payment is confirmed to us, which is usually seconds after you pay and occasionally a few minutes. If you have paid and nothing has opened after ten minutes, write to team@creovine.com with the receipt and we will sort it out. Do not pay twice.
Refunds
A course or a download: ask within 14 days and we refund it, as long as you have watched less than a quarter of it. Past either of those, we do not, because at that point you have had the thing you bought.
The Academy Track: a full refund any time before your intake starts. Once teaching has begun we do not refund the semester, because your place was held and the cohort was sized around it. If you cannot start, tell us before the start date and we will move you to the next intake instead.
If we cancel: if we cancel an intake, or withdraw a course you have bought, you get all of your money back for the part you did not receive. That is not at our discretion.
Refunds go back to the card or account that paid. Ask at team@creovine.com.
If you do not pass a semester
You may sit it again without paying for it again, up to twice per semester. You keep your place, you get the next intake of that term, and nothing further is charged. A third attempt at the same semester is paid for at the price of the day.
It applies only to a semester you actually sat and did not pass, once that intake has ended and the result is settled. Leaving a semester part way through is not a fail, and does not earn a free repeat.
The videos and materials are not yours to pass on
You may watch them, download what is offered for download, and use what you learn in your own work, including work you are paid for. You may not share, re-upload, resell or republish the material, and you may not use it to train a model. Doing so ends your access without a refund.
Anything you build while studying is yours.
What a certificate claims
Our certificate says that you have mastered the material of the programme, and it can be checked by anyone you send it to. It is not a university degree, it is not accredited by any government body, and it does not certify that we verified your identity against a document.
The exam is drawn from the practice bank, which is published to you in full. That is a deliberate choice: the bank is the syllabus, and working through it is the qualification. It also means the certificate rewards thoroughness rather than guessing what unseen questions might ask, and we would rather say so here than let anyone assume otherwise.
Honest work
Submit your own work. Using AI is expected here and is taught here; passing off somebody else's work as yours is not the same thing and is not allowed. Where we open a case about it you will be told, and you can answer it. An upheld case can void marks and withhold a certificate.
Extras
Anything offered alongside a course, a live session, a template pack, a review of your work, is part of what you bought and we will say so at the time. Where something is described as a bonus or a limited extra, it can be changed or withdrawn, and the course itself is what you are paying for.
The community
Be civil. No harassment, no spam, no advertising, nothing illegal. We can remove a post or a person without notice where it comes to that, and we would rather explain than not.
When things change
We may change a schedule, a marker, a tool taught inside a course, or the platform itself. What we will not do is quietly reduce what you already bought. If an intake has to move or be cancelled, the refund rule above applies.
Where we stand on liability
We work to keep the academy available and the teaching sound, and we do not promise it will never be interrupted. What we owe you if something goes wrong is limited to what you paid us for the thing that went wrong. Nothing here removes a right you have under the law of your own country that cannot be signed away.
We do not promise a job, a client, or an income. What we sell is teaching, and what you do with it is yours.
Which law applies
The law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and its courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim at home. It usually does, and we are not trying to take that away.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material we will email everyone with an account before it takes effect, and you can close your account if you do not accept it. The date at the top of this page is the version in force.
